Changing work preferences: 58% of India’s tech talent prefers remote work even in exchange for a pay cut
As per a recent study conducted by Uplers (in partnership with Kaizen Market Research), it was seen that 58% of India’s tech workforce would prefer working remotely even if it meant they would earn less.
This data was concluded based on thorough primary research with sample sets from 24 Indian cities and included both quantitative and qualitative research.

Understanding the Gen Z mindset: Upskilling is the way ahead?
Amidst all the uncertainty coming in from the unstable (now-stabilizing) talent market and the widespread use and development of Generative AI, today’s workforce is focusing more on learning new skills to unlock new opportunities.
According to the Pearson Skills Outlook Survey – Employee view, 88% of Gen Z workers in India have had to rethink their career path due to the uncertainties of the last three years. This is significantly higher than the 67% of millennials and 55% of Gen X workers who said the same.
